If you have not been able to experience the California Roots Music and Art Festival in the past seven years, you should do your very best to attend next year as the 2016 festival was recently held on March 27-29 at the Monterey Fairgrounds. California Roots is the perfect event for people who enjoy all types of raggae music, art, amazing food, a good time with family and friends, and much more.
There were many sponsor, artist, arts & craft, and food vendors. Some of these vendors included:

There are three different stages where multiple artists and bands perform throughout the day – The Bowl, The Cali Roots Stage, and The OG Stage. This year was packed with incredible artists. Some are up-and-coming including Bulby York, The Oles, and Tunnel Vision, while others are more well-known including:
Friday lineup – Katachafire, J Boog, Fortunate Youth, The Expendables, Atmosphere
Saturday lineup – The Green, Stephen Marley, Pepper, Damian Marley
Sunday lineup – Stick Figure, Protoje, Tribal Seeds, Michael Franti
This year’s headliners were Slightly Stoopid, Damian Marley, and Rebelution. These artists all bring good vibes that you will not want to miss.
