Horseshoe Bend

If you are planning a visit to Arizona, you must marvel at Horseshoe Bend. The jaw-dropping bend is approximately 140 miles from both the North and South Rims of the Grand Canyon, but located only 5 miles from the perimeter of Grand Canyon National Park. You can either take an air tour and witness the beauty of Horseshoe Bend from high above, take a rafting tour through the Colorado River and witness the beauty from below, or embark on a short hike to the top of the canyon that overlooks the bend. The hike is only 0.75 miles, so many people will make the trek for the amazing view. If you get the chance, witnessing Horseshoe Bend at sunset is a must. There are no rails at the edge of the cliff, so be very careful when taking your incredible photos.
